Meet the Composer
Giulio Pietropaolo
Italian pianist and composer Giulio Pietropaolo studied with Marco Baraldi at the Conservatorio P. Mascagni in Livorno, Italy, where he graduated in 2006 with honors and special mention. He furthered his studies with Aquiles Delle Vigne at Codarts Hogeschool Voor de Kunsten in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and with Nino Kereselidze at Katarina Gurska Higher Center in Madrid, Spain, where he currently serves as piano professor. Winner of international awards and a concert performer, his musical curiosity led him to improvisation and composition, culminating in Minimal, his debut album as a pianist and composer. Giulio also has extensive experience composing music for theater and educational purposes.
