Laura is a versatile musician and educator. As a pianist, she has extensive experience across the world playing as a soloist, with orchestras, choirs, and a diverse range of chamber music projects. As a piano teacher, she has taught at all levels and has developed piano ensemble programs for children in both her native country, Venezuela, and Ohio, her new home in the US. Some of her piano ensemble arrangements are published by Piano Safari. In the last few years, she has also taught introductory courses to the arts. She is culminating her PhD studies of Interdisciplinary Arts, which has allowed her to continue her piano studies with Christopher Fisher and pursue research on musicology and its relationship with other arts. She is the music and art teacher at Southeast Ohio Classical Academy in Logan, OH.
